Joe’s County Board Experience

I’ve served four terms (eight years) on Eau Claire County Board.

This term, I’ve served on the following committees:
Chairman, Parks and Forest Committee
Member, Standing Committee on the Seven Mile Creek Landfill
Land Conservation Commission
Extension Education Commision
Member, Land Stewardship Sub-committee
Steering Committee for revising Eau Claire County Comprehensive Plan

I’ve tried to serve on committees that dealt with environmental issues and directly affected District 3. The district comprises a little bit of the city in eastern Eau Claire and a lot of the town of Seymour, including the north shore of Lake Altoona, a portion of the Eau Claire River, the Seven Mile Creek Landfill, Tower Ridge County Recreation Area, L.L. Phillips County Park and the north side of Big Falls County Park.
