Neighbor Joe

As a hunter, fisherman, birdwatcher, cyclist, skier, and canoeist, I have covered countless miles of Eau Claire county roads, trails, and streams.

I earned a BS and MS from UW Madison. I was on the rowing team for four years (Like Boys in the Boat). I served in the Peace Corps in Tunisia. In 1981, I moved to Eau Claire to join the Leader Telegram.

I’ve been married to retired teacher Bonni Knight for 46 years and we have one daughter, one son-in-law, two grandkids, and one English setter.

We moved to Seymour in 2009 and we love it!
